I'm not really retiring yet.:D My last post was a hoax. I don't even plan to announce it yet today, but users @nas.cn were able to get a working five-zero using an older gnoBoot image. They always complain that I release new versions very often. So I decided to delay the release and make it appear that I'm signing off.
If you are always checking my drive and comparing each files timestamp, then you should have noticed that there is a new zImage. "MGP GOD" was first one who noticed it but I ignored him when he emailed me asking for the password. Then, "Diverge" also ask me about it. I told him that it's five-zero. You'll see from my posted screenshot (`uname -a` build date) @XPEnology forum that I got dsgpl-five.zero kernel working. It was the same day official version was released. Someone @nas1.cn even said that I faked it. Oh really? That's funny!
So, what's new on five-zero? Nothing really, just the new kernel and bugs??? I wasn't able to cleanly apply four-three patches to it. I need more time to handpick each code to make it work, considering I'm not a kernel programmer.
Will I still work on four-three? Yes, definitely! Though, five-zero would be the default boot option.
Will I give the password? Maybe, I found a lot of missing drivers the other day while testing it and broken tg3 driver which most micro server users are using. I'll just build another one. If ever you are able to crack the password, KUDOs to you!

他没说要停止gnoboot计划……,他早已做好5.0的内核支持了。只是大家没发现了,第一个发现的是MGP GOD
